Julia

Mental Health Social Worker

Julia (she/her) completed a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Anthropology and Psychology. Julia has worked within the family violence sector, homelessness sector, secondary schools and hospital settings. She has a particular passion for adolescent mental health but is able to work with all ages. She embeds a person-centered, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to build a supportive space where individuals can feel free to safely explore their thoughts and feelings. Julia is open to exploring with the individual the best form of therapy, whether that be through talk therapy, somatic movement or outreach. As a social worker, she is able to deeply consider the societal and structural elements that shape an individual, as well as move to the micro (individual) level.​

Ali

Mental Health Social Worker

Ali (she/her) is a compassionate counsellor with a strong background in social work and extensive experience supporting individuals through a range of mental health challenges. With a focus on ADHD, Ali provides a flexible, tailored approach to therapy, recognising that each individual’s needs are unique. Creating a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space, Ali prioritises building trust and comfort so that clients feel safe to share their experiences.

Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, Ali incorporates somatic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, mindfulness, and breath work into sessions. A key focus of Ali's work is on calming the nervous system and practising skills in-session to develop emotional regulation and resilience.

Ali also has a particular interest in working with individuals from the LGBTIQA+ community and supporting clients in navigating challenges around sex and relationships.

Rebecca

Administration Coordinator

Rebecca (she/her) has been a teacher for several years and has always loved helping the people around her and making them feel welcome. She is down-to-earth and loves connecting with people. In her spare time, you'll usually find her at a reformer pilates class, doing a bit of yoga, or reading books with her daughter.

Jenni

Intake Clinician

​Jenni (she/her) is a social worker by background and is deeply passionate about health equity for women. She takes relational, trauma-informed & strengths-based approaches to her work. Through her practice she aspires to deconstruct the social and political structures that influence health and wellbeing outcomes for women. In her spare time she loves to cook, plays tennis and learn Jamaican Dancehall.
